1. Information we collect
- Account info: name, email, company name, billing address, phone (optional).
- Customer & lead data you upload: contact details, addresses, project notes that you put into the CRM.
- Lead-widget submissions: homeowner name, email, phone, property address.
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, in-app actions. Used to improve the Service.
- Payment info: processed by Square. We never see or store full card numbers.
2. How we use it
- Provide and improve the Service
- Process payments and send invoices
- Send transactional email (account confirmations, report delivery, billing)
- Send product updates (you can opt out)
- Comply with legal obligations
3. We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not sell lead data captured by the widget — those leads belong to you.
4. Sharing
We share data only with: (a) Square (payment processing), (b) our hosting provider, (c) our email service provider, (d) law enforcement when legally required.
5. Data retention
Customer data is retained for the life of your account. After cancellation, data is kept for 30 days (downloadable as CSV at any time) and then permanently deleted.
6. Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@rooferapp.com. Canadian and US-state-resident rights (CCPA, etc.) are honored.
7. Security
TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest, role-based access control, daily encrypted backups. See our security page for details.
8. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 13.
9. International transfers
Customer data is stored in US-based data centers. Canadian customers may request CA-based storage.
10. Changes
Material changes to this policy will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
