What we use
RooferApp uses a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies — only what is needed to make the Service work. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Categories
Essential (always on)
- Authentication: keeps you logged in
- CSRF protection: prevents cross-site request forgery on forms
- Session: remembers UI state during a visit
Analytics (privacy-respecting)
- Plausible Analytics: anonymous, cookieless page-view counts. No personal data, no fingerprinting, GDPR-compliant by default.
Payment
- Square: sets cookies needed to securely process card payments. Their privacy policy applies.
What we don’t use
- Google Analytics / GA4
- Facebook Pixel / Meta tracking
- Third-party advertising cookies
- Behavioral retargeting pixels
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies via your browser settings, but doing so will prevent the Service from working (you won’t be able to stay logged in or process payments).
Lead-widget cookies
The lead widget embedded on contractor websites does not set cookies on the homeowner’s device. Form submissions are sent directly via HTTPS POST.
